What it is: the counterpart to the panel's Moonshots — the disclosures ledger. They say what they are long. This says where I stand, dated, so the distance between the two is on the record.
The chair
I run a self-defense school and I am building a space-and-AI lane in public. I live on proper, ethical sales, on promotions, and on building things. B2C. Not a tech entrepreneur. Not at the millions phase. When the panel discusses NVIDIA's quarter from a position of capital abundance, I listen while making sure the ads work, the offer converts and the bills get paid. That is the chair this show is read from, and it is the chair most of the audience sits in.
Who I learn from
The panel is not only a counterpart. It is an inspiration, and I say so plainly: I draw on Moonshots with Peter Diamandis for what they have, how they think, what they do and, above all, how they make business. I draw on Musk's methods, because I understand the amount of work behind them. On Alex Hormozi for sales and offers done properly. On Sabrina Ramonov and Greg Isenberg for how one person publishes. And on a long list of others. The gap in The gap — what they have, what I have is measured against people I admire, which is the only honest way to measure it.
What I have done that I can prove
| Space | Founder and CTO, Argo Space Technologies · three NASA Challenge awards, lead on Break the Ice · AIAA Commercial Space chair · Space Nation CXO · Astra alumnus · went through the SpaceX hiring process, was not selected |
| Martial arts | 4th-dan karate · Krav Maga · founder of Self-Defense 4 All, ~1,500 students trained across Portugal, Norway, the UK and the US |
| The show | The Operator's View, weekly, Friday · episode #1 published 2026-09-02 after 46 days of publishing nothing |
What I am long
Time, not money.
- A studio and a cohort. Students who train, and can be measured. The panel has n-of-1 protocols; I have a population.
- One build slot. Occupied. Ideas are unlimited and kept in the ideas register; builds are one.
- A Friday. The one block a week protected for this lane. Consistency is the rule I am still learning to keep.
- The archive. Every company, person, question and method the show has touched, verified or marked unverified.
- The filing habit. Reverse bill of materials and The idiot index: reading the 10-Q instead of the feed.
Positions and network
- I hold positions in public companies, some of them in the sectors the show covers, and I use ideas from the show in how I think about them. Disclosure rule: when an episode discusses a company I hold, the episode says so.
- I am not an investor in the frontier the way the panel is. No fund, no portfolio companies, no board seats at the companies discussed.
- I am not on the panel's network, and I am building my own. What I know of the people they dine with comes from their own tape and their own filings. Building your own network, from your own chair, is part of the work and part of the record.
Where the bills are due
The current season has one goal: end it solvent. See Season 1 — 15 August to 20 September 2026. Numbers stay with the books; the direction is public, and the log carries what each week actually cost.
How this page changes
It is versioned by the updated date and rewritten when something moves, not on a schedule. The weekly entries are in The log — one entry a week, what actually moved; the distance to the panel is in The gap — what they have, what I have.
