Where his information comes from
He is the reader. He reads the fine print nobody else does — "its metric for success is the share of questions answered correctly on all five attempts… I had to check that" (on the Artificial Analysis benchmark, EP283) — and he labels the status of what he says: "this has been publicly reported", "based on public reporting", "I would infer", "this is a prediction", "not financial advice" (six times in one episode).

- The innermost loop. Recursive self-improvement is the thing everything else is downstream of. "We hit AGI no later than summer of 2020… We already have ASI."
